How to crack WBCS exam in first chance

 WBCS is one of the best govt. job not only in West Bengal but also in India .Every year thousands of thousands person are  appear in wbcs exam but a few candidates finally selected . If we search the background of our failur there must be some reason . WBCS exam devided into 3 main  parts prelim, main, interview , All three parts are very important to become a successful  WBCS officer. Now we discuss about pre main and at last interview

The WBCS Prelims Syllabus comprises of eight subjects/ topics. There are 200 (MCQ). Each topic is assigned 25 marks. The total time of the exam is 2.5 hours. The Prelims is only a  omr screening test, and its marks are not considered for final selection in final score it can not add . The commission has clearly says that in its notification that the Prelims Exam tests the level of knowledge as that of a graduate of any faculty from any ugc recognized university.

WBCS Syllabus for Mains Exam

Candidates will be selected for WBCS Mains exam on the basis of their performance in Prelims. The Mains exam will contain six compulsory papers and one optional subject comprising two papers. Each of these papers will consist of 200 marks. Candidates will be allotted 3 hours time to complete each paper.

 Bipan Chandra those books are enough for both main & pre you can not read other book .Then go through Arihant 14000 mcq and lucent mcq  book .During reading history you can write some important date chronology etc those are help in revision easily. If you do you know that is enough for main & pre
